DETAIL DESIGN OF LOAD CELL CAVERN IN TRANSPORTATION TUNNEL (T37)

NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

As a matter of fact, DT1 and DT2 have been designed in Rogun Dam and HPP as diversion
tunnels of the Vakhsh River.
Intake portals of the mentioned t unnels are located at the left bank (first part) and their outlet portals at the right bank (second part), as they cross underneath the river.
In the meantime, outlet portals of the mentioned tunnels also function as power outlets during operation period.
T37 tunnel has been designe d in right bank for transportation of the machinery. Intake portal of T37 tunnel starts at bridge #2, crosses by DT1 And DT2 tunnels and ends at bridge.

For repairing and maintenance of DT1 And DT2 during operation period, several machinery and equipment wer e needed to enter into the mentioned structures.
Entrance and exit of such machinery and equipment into /Out of DT1 And DT2 diversion tunnels can be done through a separate space called load cell (LC).
